Full job description

Kelmar Ltd. has been powering Alberta communities since 1984. As a family-owned electrical contractor with over 40 years of experience, we take pride in developing the next generation of electricians through hands-on training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities.

We're looking for motivated individuals who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade. Whether you've worked in construction, landscaping, roofing, utilities, oilfield, farming, automotive, or another hands-on industry, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Assist electricians with residential and multifamily construction projects
Learn electrical installation practices from experienced Journeypersons
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Install boxes, conduit, wiring, devices, and lighting systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Develop the skills required to become a registered electrical apprentice

What We're Looking For

Previous construction or labour experience preferred
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation and valid driver's licence
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, and working on your feet throughout the day
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
