Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Multiple Openings)

Full-time, Perm

Location: Trenton, On

Pay: $46.34/hour, plus a $1.00 night shift premium.

Shift: continental 12-hour shift rotation (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM).

While there may be opportunities for straight shifts in the future, flexibility is required.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring converting and production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

Performing daily equipment inspections and collaborating with supervisors, operators, and maintenance team members to prioritize work
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical systems including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
Aligning, adjusting, and maintaining pumps, fans, conveyors, and converting equipment with precision
Fabricating replacement parts using machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
Responding to both planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdowns
Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and service records
Supporting and promoting a strong safety culture, teamwork, and clear communication across operations

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, safety-focused trades professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A) and completion of a recognized apprenticeship or trade program
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across industrial equipment
Experience in fabrication and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
Working knowledge of PLC systems considered an asset
Flexibility and willingness to work in a shift-based (continental rotation) environment
