LOCATION: Centennial Auto Group, Summerside, Prince Edward Island
HOURS: Full Time, permanent, 40 -44 hours per week (some flexibility required).
COMPENSATION: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience)

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineer in Training or Construction Technology certification would be beneficial but not mandatory

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Comfortable learning new software and systems.
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently while supporting a busy department.
JOB TASKS:
Assist the Construction & Maintenance Manager with coordinating daily maintenance and construction activities.
Maintain project files, schedules, and work logs.
Update project tracking spreadsheets and reports.
Follow up on outstanding tasks, material deliveries, and contractor schedules.
Help ensure project information is current and readily available.
Assist with scheduling the daily and weekly work assignments for the maintenance team.
Maintain employee schedules and track vacation and time-off requests.
Monitor labour hours by project or location.
Enter and maintain time and job tracking information.
Prepare labour reports for the Construction & Maintenance Manager.
Order materials, supplies, and equipment as directed.
Obtain pricing and quotes from suppliers when requested.
Coordinate deliveries to job sites.
Monitor inventory levels of commonly used maintenance supplies.
Maintain supplier contact information and purchasing records.
Maintain records of material costs, labour hours, and other project expenses.
Update job cost spreadsheets and assist with budget tracking.
Track project timelines and completion dates.
Compile information for project summaries and departmental reports.
Alert the Construction & Maintenance Manager to outstanding purchases, delayed deliveries, or cost variances.
Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and project documentation.
Process invoices and match them to purchase orders and projects.
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
Schedule meetings and maintain department calendars.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
Assist with maintaining safety documentation, equipment records, and maintenance files.
