Sommaire du poste

Securitech est actuellement à la recherche d’un (1) technicien expérimenté en systèmes de sécurité et/ou en systèmes d’alarme incendie pour se joindre à sa division sécurité et incendie.
Le candidat retenu sera responsable de l’installation, de l’entretien, du service et du dépannage de systèmes de sécurité et de systèmes d’alarme incendie dans des environnements résidentiels et commerciaux.
Le poste requiert une grande autonomie, un bon sens de l’organisation et un haut niveau de professionnalisme.

Responsabilités principales

Installer, configurer, entretenir et réparer des systèmes de sécurité et d’alarme incendie, incluant notamment :
Contacts de porte
Détecteurs de mouvement
Panneaux d’alarme intrusion
Caméras de surveillance
Panneaux d’alarme incendie
Détecteurs incendie et dispositifs de signalisation
Effectuer des diagnostics, du dépannage et des réparations
Effectuer des inspections et interventions de service sur des systèmes d’alarme incendie
Former les clients sur l’utilisation de leurs systèmes
Évaluer les défaillances et produire des rapports détaillés
Compléter les bons de travail et rapports de service
Aider à la gestion de l’inventaire
Appuyer les tâches administratives liées aux installations et appels de service
Collaborer avec la répartition et la direction pour assurer l’efficacité des interventions

Exigences

Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en installation et service de systèmes de sécurité et/ou d’alarme incendie
Permis BSP valide
Carte de compétence CCQ valide

(Électricien – installateur de systèmes de sécurité et/ou alarme incendie)

Carte ASP Construction valide
Permis de conduire valide
Expérience avec des systèmes tels que :
DSC
Qolsys
Mircom
Honeywell
Connaissance des systèmes d’alarme incendie (Mircom – un atout important)
Connaissance de la technologie Z-Wave
Expérience avec la plateforme Alarm.com (un atout)
Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation
Capacité à gérer les priorités et à travailler de façon autonome
Bilingue (français et anglais)
Ponctuel, fiable et professionnel
Autonomie, intégrité, polyvalence et leadership

Position Summary

Securitech is currently seeking one (1) experienced Security Systems and/or Fire Alarm Technician to join its Security and Fire Alarm Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial security and fire alarm systems.
This role requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, service, and maintain security and fire alarm systems, including:
Door contacts
Motion detectors
Intrusion alarm panels
Surveillance cameras
Fire alarm control panels
Fire detection and notification devices
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
Perform inspections and service calls on fire alarm systems
Train clients on the proper use of their systems
Evaluate system issues and document corrective actions
Complete service reports and work orders accurately
Assist with inventory management
Support administrative requirements related to service and installation work
Coordinate with dispatch and management to ensure efficient job execution

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems and/or fire alarm installation and service
Valid BSP license
Valid CCQ competency card

(Electrician – Security Systems and/or Fire Alarm Installer)

Valid ASP Construction card
Valid driver’s license
Experience with systems such as:
DSC
Qolsys
Mircom
Honeywell
Fire alarm system experience (Mircom strongly preferred)
Knowledge of Z-Wave technology
Experience with Alarm.com platform (an asset)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities and work independently
Bilingual (English and French)
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly
Demonstrated autonomy, integrity, versatility, and leadership qualities
