Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will help individuals and businesses identify their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent sales skills, a passion for building relationships, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs.
Recommend suitable insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, commercial, or other coverage based on client requirements.
Prepare and present insurance quotes and explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and premiums.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular follow-up and excellent service.
Achieve or exceed individual sales targets and performance goals.
Process applications, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
Stay informed about insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate client records using CRM and agency management systems.
Collaborate with underwriting and customer service teams to ensure a smooth client experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset.
Valid insurance license (or ability to obtain one, as required by local regulations).
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the insurance industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
