Full job description

If you are a licensed Millwright looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in a manufacturing environment, this role could be an excellent fit.
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment while supporting safe, reliable production operations.

$49.90 per hour
Full-time, permanent union position
Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Transition to Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Overtime opportunities

Millwright Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Complete preventative and predictive maintenance
Install and commission new machinery and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, gearbox, bearing, coupling, and mechanical drive systems
Perform basic machining and welding as required
Update maintenance records using a CMMS
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safe work practices
Assist with equipment modifications, installations, and mechanical upgrades

Millwright Qualifications:

Licensed 433A Industrial Maintenance Millwright
Industrial manufacturing experience is mandatory
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and automated equipment
Basic machining and welding experience (MIG, stick, brazing, or oxy-acetylene considered an asset)
Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and calipers
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Experience using a CMMS is considered an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
