Full job description

Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk - Maple Ridge, BC

Our client is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their team in Maple Ridge, BC. The organization is an expanding manufacturer focused on producing high-quality precision molds and injection-molded products. Known for their commitment to teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement, they operate in a fast-paced environment where precision and reliability are key.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, GST/PST remittances, and T4 slips.
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end accounting tasks.
Generate customer invoices and coordinate shipping documentation.
Assist with customs documentation, office administration, and production support.

Qualifications

Experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Proficiency in Sage 50 Pro, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with BC sales tax regulations.
Experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Ability to interpret and work with both metric and imperial measurements is preferred.
