We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support forecasting and analysis of the multi-year capital allocation and operating financials for this network expansion. If you have a proven ability to drive analysis and forecasting, and to deliver insights on large-scale, complex capital projects, you will be an excellent fit.

As a process owner for our key growth initiatives, you will be an integral part of the financial planning, reporting, evaluation and management of our PureFibre program. You will support the team developing financial models that underpin our critical commercial agreements, and support the budget and forecasting process.
Here's how
Support Forecast Management: Manage program requirements including monthly forecast updates, supporting variance analysis and exceptions
Decision Support & Strategic Insights: Build clear, compelling narratives and the materials to support communication of recommendations to various leadership levels. Develop and present scenario planning outcomes.
Enhance Standards & Capabilities: Continuously improve financial planning tools and their integration with source systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
Find new ways to analyze data and structure models to give TELUS a competitive edge in evaluating mission critical programs.
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
Qualifications
What you bring
We are looking for a financial professional with a strong understanding of corporate finance and working within complex financial functions supporting the broader organization.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation completed or in progress, is strongly preferred.
3-5 years experience in finance operations, FP&A, or management consulting, including developing and maintaining budgets, processes, and reporting dashboards.
Demonstrated ability to address questions and exceptions related to payments, budgets, and reports in a timely manner while managing competing priorities.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Google Office Suite.
Great to Have's
Experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
Experience in a role that required interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Salary Range: $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
