Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and hospitality operations within a lively environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol regulations.
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when required.
Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and food safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests.
Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating an enjoyable atmosphere for patrons. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
