Arpi's North Inc./Tagg Collective is looking for an experienced journeyman insulator.

Responsibilities

Assist with insulation installation on piping, ducts, and equipment.
Measure and cut insulation materials such as fiberglass, mineral wool, foam, or other specified materials.
Install jacketing and coverings, including Canvas, PVC, metal, and other protective coverings
Read basic drawings and specifications and learn how insulation systems are laid out.
Assist journeypersons with more complicated installations
Set up and maintain the work area, including materials, tools, ladders, scaffolding access, and housekeeping.
Learn to identify different insulation materials and applications, including when insulation is needed for heat conservation, freeze protection, condensation control, or personnel protection.
Take direction and develop trade skills through on-the-job training and apprenticeship schooling.
Follow all company safety policies and site-specific safety requirements.
Work cooperatively with supervisors, team members, and other trades on site.

Qualifications

Experience working on commercial projects an asset.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions when required.
Physically able to lift, carry, and handle materials safely.
Able to use basic hand and power tools
Good hand-eye coordination and basic mechanical ability
