**Pay rotation is Monthly, not Bi-weekly**

Location: Positions needed in Almonte

Summary

We are seeking passionate Youth Worker's to join our teams in locations in Almonte. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting and guiding youth, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their potential. Your contributions will be essential to our mission of creating a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and guidance to youth in various settings.
Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of each young person.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to enhance support systems.
Facilitate group activities that promote personal growth and social skills.
Monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed to ensure success.
Advocate for the rights and needs of youth within the community.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience working with youth with disabilities and mental health challenges is essential.
First Aid/CPR-C is required
Academic Background in child and youth development or related fields is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with youth effectively.
Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Scheduling

All part-time staff must work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) with evening availability.

All full-time employees must work 2 days on, 2 days off and every other weekend.
