Full job description

Pathways Therapy is looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our amazing team. The primary area of practice is paediatrics including self-regulation, sensory processing, feeding, anxiety, printing, ADLs and social skills. There is also potential for some adult work if interested. Our large multidisciplinary clinic in Waterloo is a fun inviting space with private paediatric treatment rooms, a sensory gym, a large PT gym and extensive equipment and resources.

Pathways provides one-on-one mentoring support with our experienced occupational therapists and many resources to support your practice. Experience in paediatric OT is preferred but not required. We are looking for OT's with strong communication skills who are motivated to provide excellent client care and to continue to develop their knowledge and skills. If you have a passion for paediatics we would love to talk to you.

The position is part time with potential for hours to increase over time. We are also accepting applications for casual positions which can be a good fit for Occupational Therapists with another position who are looking for additional hours.

A university degree in Occupational therapy and registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario is required.

Pathways Therapy is a therapist-owned, interdisciplinary private practice which has been in business in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for 30 years. Our experienced team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, SLPs, kinesiologists PTA/OTA and administrative staff. Clients may be seen in our 3400 square foot clinic in Waterloo or within the community. We also offer some special programs including our Pathways Ponies program. At Pathways we strive to provide the highest level of service possible to help our clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
