Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, friendly communication, and expert food and beverage knowledge. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a lively environment that celebrates teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct entry.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials or beverages to enhance the guest experience, and answer any questions about ingredients or dietary needs.
Monitor tables regularly to ensure guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as processing payments and giving change.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, assist with food preparation when necessary, and adhere to all food safety regulations in the food industry.

Qualifications

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly.
Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with food industry operations such as serving, cashiering, or food preparation is advantageous.
Kitchen experience or familiarity with restaurant workflows can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
