BayVETS Urgent Care Collingwood is an innovative, privately owned urgent care hospital supported by a group of local veterinarians. We provide high quality urgent and emergency care for pets when family veterinarians are closed, bridging the gap between general practice and traditional emergency hospitals.

At BayVETS, you’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and stabilize urgent and emergency patients in a fast paced, supportive environment. When ongoing hospitalization or overnight intensive care is required, we coordinate a seamless transfer to the most appropriate 24 hour facility.

Qualifications
We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian who:
- Is confident managing a wide variety of urgent care and emergency medical cases.
- Is comfortable performing urgent care surgical procedures, including laceration repair, foreign body removal, and other soft tissue surgeries within the scope of our practice.
- Values high quality medicine while working efficiently and collaboratively with clients and the veterinary team.
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys fully utilizing the skills of experienced RVTs and support staff.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with diagnostic ultrasound is considered a strong asset.

Hours
Weeknights: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Weekends & Holidays: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
No overnight shifts. No on call responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting compensation from $120/hour.

Important Licensing Information
Applicants must hold, or be eligible to hold, a full licence to practise veterinary medicine in Ontario.
At this time, we are unable to consider applicants holding a restricted licence, those requiring supervised practice, or those with other licensing conditions that limit independent practice.
