Overview

SMART SERVE IS A MUST!

Join our vibrant team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic dining experience! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and thrive in a fast-paced food industry environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering duties and processing payments accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including table setup, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely delivery to guests, demonstrating excellent guest services skills.

Experience

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy.
Experience in serving or hospitality roles that emphasize customer service excellence is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
