Lead HVAC Installer

Affordable Comfort is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional installations, leading by example, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.

As a Lead Installer, you will oversee residential HVAC installations, ensure the highest standards of workmanship, support apprentice development, and help drive operational excellence in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Mentor and train junior installers and apprentices
Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide an exceptional customer experience
Troubleshoot installation challenges and make sound field decisions
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Collaborate with the Install Manager and leadership team to continuously improve processes

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
Proven experience leading installation crews or acting as a lead installer
Valid G2 Gas Technician Licence (G1 considered an asset)
313D (an asset)
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, installation best practices, and local codes
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
