Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Farm Hand will assist in the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Must have a back ground with handling large farm animals. Must be willing to relocate to the living quarters on-site

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and power tools.
Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to keep them in good working condition.
Utilize hand tools for various farming tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required by daily farm activities.
Operate heavy equipment safely under supervision when necessary.
Apply basic math skills for measuring, calculating, and recording data related to farm operations.

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Proven ability to perform maintenance tasks on machinery and tools.
Experience operating farm machinery or heavy equipment is advantageous.
Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting
