Experienced Part-Time Esthetician — Facials, Nails, Waxing, Lashes & Brows
ONYX Skin & Wellness is a luxury skin and wellness studio in Oakville dedicated to providing high-quality skincare and beauty services in a warm, professional, and client-focused environment.
We are looking for an experienced, versatile, and reliable Esthetician to join the ONYX team. This position is ideal for an established beauty professional who is confident performing a wide range of services, takes pride in their work, and is motivated to build long-term relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate has an existing client base or is confident promoting their services, attracting new clients, and growing a loyal clientele with the support and exposure provided by ONYX.
Compensation
- 30% commission on all services personally performed
- 100% of tips
- Flexible part-time schedule
Responsibilities
- Perform professional customized facials and skincare treatments
- Conduct basic skin consultations and recommend suitable treatments and products
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and gel-polish services
- Provide facial and body waxing
- Perform Lash Lift & Tint and Brow Lamination & Tint
- Deliver consistently professional and high-quality client care
- Build, retain, and grow a loyal client base
- Recommend appropriate services, treatment plans, and retail products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized workspace
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards
- Assist with light front-desk responsibilities during quieter periods, including greeting clients, answering calls, booking appointments, and processing payments
- Represent ONYX professionally and contribute positively to the studio environment
Qualifications
- Esthetics diploma or recognized professional certification
- Previous professional experience performing facials, nails, waxing, lash, and brow services
- Strong skincare knowledge and ability to assess clients’ basic skin concerns
- Existing clientele or demonstrated ability to attract and retain clients is considered a strong asset
- Professional, reliable, motivated, and well-presented
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ukrainian language skills are considered a strong asset
