Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Event Security Guard and become the frontline protector of our vibrant events! In this role, you will ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property by actively monitoring event premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your vigilance and professionalism will create a safe environment where everyone can enjoy the event experience to the fullest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security skills in a lively, fast-paced setting while making a positive impact on event success.

Duties

Monitor event venues continuously through CCTV surveillance to detect suspicious activities or security breaches
Control access points by verifying tickets, IDs, and credentials for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors
Conduct thorough inspections of individuals entering the event to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, and access records throughout each event
Observe crowd behavior and enforce safety protocols to prevent overcrowding or disruptive conduct
Use surveillance equipment effectively to oversee large areas and identify potential security threats proactively

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential for effective monitoring
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and ensure property protection
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail in dynamic environments
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and emergency services
