We’re Hiring: Landscape Lead Hand

Hardworking. Reliable. Ready to help lead the crew from the ground up?

We’re looking for a hands-on and motivated Landscape Lead Hand to support our Foreman in overseeing daily project operations. If you’ve got a solid landscaping background and love working outdoors while helping a team succeed, this role could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting the Foreman in leading and coordinating crew activities on job sites
Working on both softscape (planting, soil prep, sod) and hardscape (pavers, retaining walls, stone) installations
Providing on-site training and support to crew members
Helping ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
Operating and maintaining tools, trucks, and equipment such as skid steers and hand tools
Keeping the site clean, safe, and organized throughout the project
Reporting progress, issues, or delays to the Foreman
Participating in daily safety meetings and ensuring proper PPE use
Ensuring all work is done with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

Work Environment:

Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (sun, rain, cold, heat)
Physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, and operating equipment
Extended work hours and weekend availability during peak season

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in landscaping, with 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience with both softscape and hardscape installation techniques
Ability to operate landscape equipment safely and efficiently
Valid driver’s license (required)
Ability to read and follow work orders, blueprints, and specs
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Comfortable adapting to changing job site conditions
Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. and work in all weather
