Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Patrol Guard / Alarm Response professional to ensure the safety and security of assigned premises. This role involves patrolling designated areas, responding promptly to alarms, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of vigilance, excellent observation skills, and the ability to operate surveillance equipment effectively. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community safety while working in a dynamic environment.

MUST BE AVALABLE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas via vehicle or on foot to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarm activations, investigating and resolving issues as needed.
Utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV, to observe and identify security concerns.
Document incidents accurately and thoroughly in reports for future reference and action.
Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and intervening when necessary.
Maintain a professional presence, providing assistance and information to visitors or staff when required.
Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention.
Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is advantageous.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and suspicious activity detection.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
Valid driver’s license preferred for mobile patrol responsibilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if necessary.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all duties performed.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
