Full job description

At Encore Drywall Material Supplies, we know that efficient warehouse operations start with dedicated people. As a Forklift Operator, you'll be an important part of a team that helps keep materials moving accurately, safely, and on schedule – every order contributes to the success of our customers and the reputation we've built for excellence. Key Requirements

Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks of drywall and various building materials
Move materials to and from storage areas and production areas
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Abiding by all Health and Safety Regulations as laid out by Encore Drywall Material Supplies
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
Proven ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Warehouse background with exposure to WHIMIS an asset
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Experience handling drywall and other building materials is considered an asset
