Nous sommes présentement à la recherche de personnes bienveillantes pour se joindre à notre équipe en tant qu'auxiliaires de vie. En tant qu'auxiliaire de vie, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel en offrant des soins et un soutien indispensables aux personnes qui en ont besoin. Ce poste vous offre l'occasion d'avoir un impact positif et concret sur la vie des personnes ayant besoin d'assistance.

Responsabilités :

- Aider les résidents dans leurs activités quotidiennes, notamment la toilette, l'habillage et les soins d'hygiène.

- Offrir de la compagnie et du soutien émotionnel aux personnes prises en charge.

- Participer à la préparation des repas et à l'alimentation des résidents, au besoin.

- Aider à la mobilité et aux transferts, y compris soulever ou déplacer les résidents si nécessaire.

- Donner les médicaments aux résidents sous la supervision d'un infirmier.

- Maintenir un environnement propre et sécuritaire pour les résidents.

- Collaborer avec les professionnels de la santé pour assurer le bien-être des résidents.

Exigences :

- Une expérience préalable en gériatrie, en CHSLD, en résidence pour personnes âgées ou dans un milieu similaire est souhaitable.

- Capacité d'effectuer des tâches physiques exigeantes, notamment le port de charges lourdes, liées aux soins des patients.

- La connaissance des pratiques en soins palliatifs est un atout.

- Familiarité avec les procédures et protocoles de soins à domicile.

- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et empathie envers les personnes en difficulté.

- Disponibilité pour travailler selon un horaire flexible, en fonction des besoins de l'établissement.

Overview:

We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance.

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under care
- Aid in meal preparation and feeding as necessary
- Help with mobility and transfers, including lifting or moving residents when required
- Support patients with medication administration under the supervision of a nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents

Requirements:

- Prior experience in senior care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or related settings is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with patient care
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with home care procedures and protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards individuals in need
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on the needs of the facility
