POSITION: Volkswagen Service Advisor

RESPONSIBILITIES: The employee position noted above is responsible for, but not limited to the below roles:

The Volkswagen Service Advisor is a key member of the Fixed Operations departments and has a direct impact on the business success of the entire dealership. This role requires the candidate to represent not only the Volkswagen brand, but the business in its entirety, which will include the new and used cars sales departments. You are responsible for the successful handling of customer, internal and wholesale customer’s service needs. This role will require attention to detail and cooperation amongst your colleagues and numerous other departments and business partners. In addition, it will require teamwork to assist in the coordination of technician repairs, parts ordering, and the arrangement of third party sublet trade providers. The employee is required to learn the required method of delivering the Volkswagen Service Core Process through direct experience, on-the-job training, and the completion of Volkswagen Canada online and instructor led training courses.

Responsibilities:

Follow the Volkswagen Service Core Process in the greeting, work order write-up, walk around, repair, invoicing, and follow-up stages of service customer handling.
Provide professional and courteous service for customers in person
Review all vehicle repair orders and appointments for VW Recalls
Provide professional and courteous service for incoming service department phone calls and setting of appointments.
Provide accurate quotation and time estimations for customer inquiries and during appointment setting
Provide timely responses to customer inquiries via email and voicemail.
Provide professional and courteous service for online email, online and social media channel leads.
Ensure all repair orders are closed with received payment in a timely manner, which includes sublets, wholesale accounts and third party extended warranties.
Ensure all customer profiles are maintained with complete and accurate data.
Ensure all special-order parts are installed on the required vehicles to prevent parts obsolescence.
Performing appointment review for upcoming days to ensure part ordering accuracy
Provide back up to service management during busy seasonal peak periods or during times of absence
Booking first appointments for new and used car department sales customers.
Assist new and used car department managers for delivery follow-up and technical assistance.
Assist with the development of Aftersales KPI’s and business planning.
Represent the brand and Hamilton Volkswagen in a honest and professional way during and after work hours.
Work with VW Canada to ensure all training certification are completed for yourself and the department staffing requirements

Previous service advisor experience
CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds or PBS experience
G License in ON

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
