Job Description: Kitchen Supervisor

Overview: Kidssentials is a premier catering service dedicated to providing healthy and delicious meals to children. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our operations and ensure the highest standards of service and quality. This role is crucial for our continued growth, requiring a visionary leader with a strong background in food service operations, strategic planning, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, organization, and execution of all catering operations, from menu development to delivery.
Manage a team of catering staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and logistics to guarantee timely preparation and delivery of meals to schools and child care centres.
Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, including CCEYA and PPM 150 guidelines.
Develop and manage budgets, overseeing inventory, purchasing, and cost-effective supply chains.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Implement and optimize operational systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Conduct regular operational performance reports and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all catering equipment and storage areas.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a catering or food service management role, preferably with a focus on children's catering.
Deep knowledge of CCEYA and PPM 150 guidelines is mandatory.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A strong commitment to quality service and attention to detail.
