Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Framing Drywall Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and taping, with a strong understanding of building techniques and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in various construction settings.

Duties

Install and tape drywall sheets according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate framing and drywall installation.
Apply joint compound and finish surfaces for a smooth appearance.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks as needed to ensure proper insulation and finish.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and handymen, to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Assist with construction painting as required, ensuring high-quality finishes.

Requirements

Proven experience in framing, drywall installation, and taping.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
Familiarity with caulking techniques and tools used in drywall finishing.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
A background in general construction or maintenance person services is preferred.
