Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coach to lead and inspire athletes of various skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, improve athletic skills, and promote healthy living within our community. The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for planning practices, developing game strategies, and mentoring players to reach their full potential.

Duties

Design and implement effective training sessions tailored to different skill levels
Teach fundamental volleyball techniques, rules, and sportsmanship principles
Organize and lead team practices, drills, and conditioning exercises
Develop game strategies and provide guidance during competitions
Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
Promote a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect
Assist with organizing tournaments and community events related to volleyball
Support swimmers or incorporate swimming activities into training programs when applicable
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all practices and games

Qualifications

Proven experience in coaching volleyball at youth or adult levels
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop athletes
Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and game strategies
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents, and staff
Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
Prior coaching certification or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00 per hour
