Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students through engaging music education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching music, working with children, and fostering a love for the arts. This role involves designing and delivering age-appropriate music lessons, encouraging creativity, and supporting students' musical development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels
Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and enjoyment of music
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth
Organize performances, recitals, or showcases to showcase student achievements
Collaborate with parents, staff, and other educators to support students’ overall development
Incorporate diverse musical styles and cultural perspectives into lessons to enrich learning experiences
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment conducive to creativity and exploration

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching music
Classroom experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to manage groups of young learners effectively
Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular environments is preferred
Skills in working with children include patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate young students
Additional skills such as cooking are considered a bonus but are not essential for this role

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
