Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

This role involves handling packages, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Tasks may include assembling, scanning, sorting, sealing, and loading/unloading parcels in accordance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately.
Scans, reads, and labels packages to determine correct grouping.
Sort packages that move along a conveyor line.
Sort items according to the destination.
Understand the Health and Safety Standards and the follow the company safety protocols.
Reports any safety issues to the warehouse manager.
Use hand-to-surface methods when handling packages to ensure safety and efficiency.
Operate forklift and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
Perform heavy lifting and carrying of materials as needed.
Load and unload trailers with attention to proper skid placement and weight distribution.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Follows written and verbal instructions.
Any other duties assigned to them.

Job Requirements

Reliable and punctual, and able to follow directions.
Should have reliable transportation to get to/from work.
Able to lift/carry/push up to 75 Lbs and up to 150 Lbs with assistance.
Must have at least 2 years of Forklift experience
Able to stand, sit and/or walk for long hours.
Prior experience in warehouse distribution and logistics.
Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes.
Skilled in loading and unloading trailers, with a focus on proper skid placement and effective weight distribution.
Knowledge of computer software such as outlook, word, excel, Microsoft TEAMS.
Must adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Safety vests are provided by the organization; however, employees are required to supply their own steel-toe footwear.

Certifications/Requirements

Certified or trained in forklift operation, with proven ability to handle equipment safely and efficiently.
