Senior Project Scheduler for our client, a leading organization delivering large-scale industrial and capital projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project controls professional with deep expertise in planning, scheduling, and project execution within complex EPC environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across multiple projects and operating assets. You will work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure schedule integrity, identify potential risks, support decision-making, and drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain integrated Level I-IV project schedules throughout all phases of project execution.
- Support planning and scheduling activities across multiple projects and operational assets while balancing competing priorities.
- Standardize planning and scheduling processes, deliverables, and reporting methods across multiple projects.
- Integrate schedules from Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning, and external contractors.
- Develop front-end planning schedules using preliminary project information, estimates, and historical benchmarks.
- Create and maintain Schedule Basis Memorandums outlining assumptions, constraints, methodologies, and execution strategies.
Schedule Analysis & Risk Management
- Conduct critical path analysis, schedule health assessments, variance analysis, and forecasting activities.
- Identify schedule risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and potential execution impacts.
- Perform "what-if" scenario analysis and support recovery planning and contingency development.
- Monitor schedule interfaces and recommend mitigation strategies to address project risks.
- Support schedule risk analysis using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
Resource Planning & Performance Monitoring
- Support manpower planning, resource loading, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure resource-loaded schedules align with contractor progress and execution plans.
- Develop progress measurement tools, dashboards, resource histograms, and performance tracking reports.
- Monitor contractor and project team performance against established schedules and key milestones.
- Consolidate progress information from multiple stakeholders for accurate project-wide reporting.
Change Management & Reporting
- Manage schedule changes through established change management and project controls processes.
- Prepare and distribute schedule updates, KPI reports, critical path reports, float analysis, and performance reporting.
- Validate schedule logic, sequencing, and data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Support Integrated Business Planning and project controls reporting requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, Contractors, and Construction teams to improve planning and scheduling performance.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of planning standards, procedures, templates, and reporting processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior schedulers and project controls team members.
- Promote best practices in project planning, execution, forecasting, and controls.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of project scheduling experience supporting major capital projects.

Experience within large-scale industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, mining, or heavy construction environments.

Field-based or site execution experience is strongly preferred.

Proven experience integrating schedules across multiple contractors and project execution teams.

Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 (10+ years of hands-on experience required).
