Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to cleanliness will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, maintain impeccable sanitation standards, and assist with basic kitchen tasks to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and guests. Your positive attitude and dedication will help uphold our commitment to exceptional hospitality and food service excellence.

Duties

Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with food prep activities such as washing vegetables, peeling, and basic ingredient handling under supervision.
Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies, restocking items, and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas.
Ensure all workstations are sanitized regularly and comply with health safety regulations.
Help with waste disposal, recycling, and maintaining a tidy kitchen environment throughout your shift.
Follow proper food handling procedures to support safe food storage and prevent contamination.
Assist in setting up dining areas or serving stations as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety practices.
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
Experience with basic food preparation or cooking is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and order.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Previous hotel or food service experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to grow within the hospitality industry is valued.
