Pegasus Glass is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Shipper/Receiver/ Material Handler to join our team.
We are a growing manufacturing company with a close-knit team, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, accurate, and moving. This is a physical hands-on position that plays an important role in ensuring incoming materials are received correctly, and our finished products reach our customers accurately, safely and on time, while keeping our production lines stocked for producing.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for the day-to-day movement of materials and finished goods in and out of our facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Receiving incoming shipments and verifying quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
· Inspecting incoming shipments for visible damage or discrepancies
· Accurately recording and putting away received materials
· Picking, preparing, packing, and staging customer orders for shipment
· Ensuring outgoing shipments are accurate, properly labelled, strapped and safely wrapped
· Prepare shipping documentation and maintaining accurate records
· Coordinating with the Operations team regarding incoming and outgoing shipments
· Loading and unloading trucks safely, some physical hand bombing required
· Operating a forklift, reach truck and pump cart equipment
· Maintaining organized inventory and storage areas
· Assisting with inventory counts and investigating discrepancies
· Ensuring finished goods are properly identified and stored
· Communicating shortages, damages, incorrect shipments, or other concerns promptly
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shipping/receiving area
· Following all company safety procedures and policies
· Assisting other areas of the warehouse and production team when required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
· Physically fit & able to lift 70lbs
· Is organized and pays close attention to detail
· Is comfortable working with computers and learning inventory/ERP systems
· Can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities
· Communicates well with coworkers, supervisors, carriers, and drivers, English speaking and reading a MUST
· Can prioritize multiple incoming and outgoing shipments
· Is dependable and arrives ready to work
· Is comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
· Can safely lift and move materials as required in tight spaces
· Knowledge of weight, dimensions and pallet prepping
· Has forklift experience; certification is an asset
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar inventory software is an asset, but not required
Our Schedule
Pegasus Glass operates on a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
