Job Overview:

APTIM is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to support the upcoming fall Turnaround in the Fort McMurray region. As a member of the Quality Control Team, you will be participating in the implementation and execution of various work scopes across site. The successful candidate will perform work in a fast-paced operating plant environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual inspections in accordance with codes of construction and client specifications
Develop a thorough knowledge of the project scope, schedule, inspection, testing, and quality documentation
Review and approve third party test results for compliance with project requirements
Coordinate system turnover activities and assist in assembling turnovers
Commitment to working safely and actively participating in a safe worksite culture

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering Technology with two years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or Journeyperson trade certificate with five years in quality assurance/quality control
CWB Level I or II Certified Welding Inspector
API 510/570, ABSA Welding Examiner, NACE CIP etc. considered assets
Proficient with the use of a computer and Microsoft Office programs
