Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Water Treatment Chemical Compounder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing and blending chemical compounds used in water treatment processes, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manufacturing equipment, hand and power tools, and warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and safety are paramount. Must be willing to work remotely at times.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, mix, and compound water treatment chemicals following established formulas and safety protocols
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport raw materials and finished products
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment for equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Maintain proper documentation of chemical batches, quantities, and process parameters
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse or production area
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling, storage, and disposal
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
Experience
- 6 or more years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures is a plus
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, maintenance, or use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial or chemical settings
- Previous experience working with water treatment chemicals or similar compounds is beneficial but not required
This role requires a proactive individual committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with warehouse operations, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
