Cowichan Woodwork Ltd. is looking for an experienced cabinetmaker to join our team.
For more than 20 years, we've been designing, manufacturing and installing custom residential cabinetry and commercial architectural millwork throughout Vancouver Island. Located in Cobble Hill, BC, Cowichan Woodwork designs, engineers, manufactures and installs premium custom cabinetry and architectural millwork throughout Vancouver Island.

What You'll Be Building
Every project is different.
You'll have the opportunity to build:
- High-end custom residential cabinetry
- Commercial architectural millwork
- Reception desks
- Feature walls
- Custom furniture
- Curved millwork
- Veneer, laminate and solid surface projects
You'll work alongside experienced designers, engineers, cabinetmakers, finishers and installers to deliver projects we're proud to put our name on.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
- Safely operate woodworking machinery, CNC equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain exceptional quality throughout every stage of production.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to solve problems and deliver successful projects.
- Help maintain a clean, organized and safe workplace.
Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment.

Compensation & Benefits
We believe in rewarding people who are committed to building a long-term career with us.
Our compensation package includes:
- Competitive hourly wages starting at $34.00 per hour, with top wages available for exceptional candidates.
- Vacation pay 4% increasing to 6% at 3 years.
- After 1 year employment you are eligible for our RRSP matching program.
- Medical and dental benefits after 6 months.
