About The Solar Lab

The Solar Lab is one of the fastest-growing media brands in the solar and energy storage industry. Through YouTube, our website, email, and social media channels, we help consumers make confident, informed decisions about solar equipment, home backup power, and energy independence.

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on role supporting our YouTube channel, website, and community. You'll work closely with our founders and content team to improve the viewer experience while helping maximize the performance of our content.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing our email inbox by responding to viewer questions, providing product recommendations, and filtering partnership and brand inquiries.
Responding to YouTube comments and helping foster an engaged, positive community.
Updating and optimizing affiliate links, coupon codes, and YouTube descriptions to ensure accuracy and maximize revenue opportunities.
Scheduling YouTube videos, Shorts, and other content across our publishing platforms.
Monitoring video performance and analytics, identifying trends and audience insights that help inform future content ideas.
Updating and maintaining website articles to keep information accurate and current.
Assisting with day-to-day operational tasks and special projects as needed.

Experience Required

2+ years of experience in community management, customer support, content operations, marketing, or a similar role.
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging, and error-free content across YouTube, email, websites, and social media.
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or creator, including engaging with online communities and maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience working with YouTube or other creator/media businesses is highly preferred.
Experience with Webflow, YouTube Studio, Affiliate platforms is an asset
Interest in solar and/or home improvement
