Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and various fabrication processes to ensure high-quality production standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and technical expertise are valued.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various metal materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Fabricate components using MIG welding, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and hand tools
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
Operate machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and machining tools safely and efficiently
Rigging and positioning materials or equipment as needed for fabrication or assembly tasks
Use calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision tools to ensure accurate dimensions
Assist with the assembly of ductwork, structural components, or other fabricated parts
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction environments

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding with strong proficiency in related techniques such as MIG welding and plasma cutting
Mechanical knowledge with experience operating press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate fabrication and assembly
Knowledge of rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and construction or manufacturing environments preferred
Familiarity with calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and schematics interpretation
Previous experience in ductwork fabrication or construction projects is a plus
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
