Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Reports To: Purchasing Manager

Location: Head Office, Uxbridge

The demand for quality Choko product quickly grew and today, we are designing, manufacturing, and distributing apparel and accessories for the automotive industries and farming. What We’re Looking for:

We are looking for a Custom Order/Purchasing assistant to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:

Process purchase orders for customized hats, garments, and accessories with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Support the timely processing of purchase orders to ensure program goods are available and branded appropriately for each season.
Provide coverage for the order management desk as needed.
Source and procure blank goods from suppliers to meet customization and inventory requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate with the Product Development and Art departments on seasonal apparel and accessory finishing for catalog production.
Assist in maintaining internal databases, including updates for seasonal transitions and pricing accuracy.
Generate sales reports and contribute to seasonal forecasting; strong proficiency in Excel is required.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow and successful order fulfillment.

Requirements

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Familiarity with open purchase order reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (inventory and part number management).
Knowledge of decoration techniques such as heat transfer, embroidery, and screen printing is an asset.
