About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing CNC machining programs using CAM software, ensuring efficient production and high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities

Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software.
Generate toolpaths and machining strategies for 3 & 5 axis CNC mills.
Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times.
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining methods.
Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

Experience as a CAM Operator, CNC Programmer, or similar manufacturing role.
Proficiency with CAM software such as Lemoine, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Powermill, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Experience with CNC milling operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machining, or a related field is an asset.
Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of CAD software and CNC machine setup procedures.
