Full job description

Job Summary
We are a growing restoration masonry company specializing in heritage, residential, and commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Restoration Mason who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a team-first environment, and is confident working at heights.

This is not a “stay in your lane” crew — we work together, problem-solve together, and build together.

Responsibilities

Perform restoration masonry skills including:

Repointing / tuckpointing
Brick & stone replacement
Chimney repairs
Heritage restoration work
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and site conditions (preferred but not required)
Build and dismantle scaffolding systems (up to ~30ft)
Collaborate with labourers and crew members on all aspects of the job
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Identify issues and proactively suggest solutions

MUST be willing and comfortable working at heights (80ft+) utilizing:

Engineered scaffolding systems
Boom lifts and aerial equipment

Experience

5+ years experience in restoration masonry
STRONG knowledge of mortar types & mixes AND restoration techniques (NOT just new build)
Experience with scaffolding setup (up to ~30ft)
Proficient with hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and physical capability
Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Safety-conscious and accountable

Ideal candidates will also have Working at Heights and Lift Certifications (preferred)
