ROLE OVERVIEW

The Content & Community Manager will report directly to the owner, and will be responsible for content creation and social media management and communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Content Creation: Produce, shoot, and edit engaging multimedia content (images, videos, etc.) tailored for various social media platforms.

· Active Participation: Serve as an on-camera personality when necessary to create authentic and relatable content and engage staff.

· Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.

· Community Management: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely and professional manner.

· Content Scheduling: Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns.

· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics; prepare regular reports to inform strategy adjustments.

· Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep our social media presence innovative and effective.

· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and the successful execution of campaigns.

· Social Listening: Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, identify opportunities, and address potential issues proactively.

QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role.
Proficiency in content creation tools such as cameras, microphones, lighting and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva). etc.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Brandwatch) is a plus.
