Full job description

Job Summary
CHISLETT ASPHALT ROOFING LTD is seeking an experienced Flat Roofer to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional with strong troubleshooting and repair skills who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Duties

Diagnose and repair leaks on commercial and industrial flat roofing systems.
Perform maintenance, service calls, and emergency roof repairs.
Inspect roofs and identify deficiencies, damage, and repair requirements.
Work with various roofing systems including modified bitumen, BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, and metal flashings.
Complete service reports, photographs, and documentation accurately.
Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members.
Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and small roofing projects as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a flat roofer or in related construction roles, with a strong understanding of roofing systems
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair methods.
Ability to diagnose roofing issues and provide effective solutions.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license preferred for site access and material transportation
