About the Role
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our Fleet Department. This role is responsible for the secure and timely transportation of goods to customers, ensuring proper handling and documentation throughout the delivery process.
This position is unionized, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the Teamsters Local 419 Collective Agreement.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver a variety of products to customer locations
- Load and unload goods manually or with equipment, up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Collect payments and provide receipts as required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues
- Plan delivery routes using maps and trip planning tools
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
- Communicate professionally with customers and central dispatch
- Ensure all safety, cleanliness, and vehicle maintenance standards are met
Required Qualifications
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Licensing: Valid Class D or A Driver’s License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: At least 1 year in a distribution or delivery role
Language: English – Speak, Read, Write
Lifting Ability: Capable of lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Travel Requirements: Local and provincial/territorial deliveries

- Strong route planning and navigation skills
- Able to work independently and under time constraints
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping ability
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and goods handling
- Professionalism when interacting with customers and team members

Compensation & Union Information
This position is covered under the Teamsters Local 419 Collective Agreement (effective Jan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2027, or as amended). Compensation and benefits will follow the terms outlined in the agreement, including shift premiums, overtime, and entitlements.
