Front of House Restaurant Manager Island Mix Restaurant & Lounge

Island Mix Restaurant & Lounge is looking for a dynamic, professional, and hands-on Front of House Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.

We are looking for someone who is confident leading a team, comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

Lead, train, coach, and support the FOH team to ensure exceptional guest service.
Oversee daily floor operations, including service flow, table management, staffing, and guest experience.
Maintain Island Mix Restaurant & Lounge service standards, atmosphere, and brand presentation at all times.
Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service issues professionally and efficiently.
Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Ensure accurate cash handling, POS procedures, shift reports, and closing procedures.
Assist with scheduling, staffing, and maintaining appropriate floor coverage.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance with company policies and public health regulations.
Lead by example and maintain a professional, positive, and team-focused environment.
Work closely with the General Manager and ownership team to improve daily operations and overall restaurant performance.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory for this position.
Flexible availability for evenings and holidays based on business needs.
Strong leadership skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations and FOH service.
Knowledge of Caribbean cuisine and culture is an asset but not required.
Smart Serve certification is required.
Reliable, professional, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding guest service.
Must be comfortable being hands-on and actively involved on the restaurant floor.

Weekend Availability Requirement

Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory. Applicants who are unable to work both Saturday and Sunday will not be considered for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
