Full job description

Staff Plus is seeking a Licensed Counter-Balance Forklift Operator to support our client in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move stock around the facility among other duties as assigned.

Hours: Must be flexible to work Any Shift, 8 to 12 hours per shift, Monday to Sunday

What You'll Do:

Print and prepare bills of lading and perform accurate data entry.
Move and handle large paper rolls (approximately 5 ft wide and 9 ft high).
Perform general manual labour tasks as required.
Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and recycle materials into bins using a rotator clamp.
Conduct routine pre- and post-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
Load and unload products from trailers or containers.
Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

Licensed Forklift operator, with experience on a Rotator Clamp is considered an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience driving Electric Counter-Balance forklift.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment safely.
Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and warehouse management systems.
Mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
Must have a clear criminal background history.
