Face Painter (Event-Based / Casual)

FaceCraft is seeking a reliable, creative, and professional Face Painter to join our growing team. We provide high-quality face painting services for birthdays, festivals, school events, and community gatherings within Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Markham.
This is a casual, event-based position, ideal for someone with weekend availability, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in art and working with children.
Requirement: Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional, high-quality face painting services at events (primarily weekends, with some weekday opportunities).
- Set up and dismantle equipment efficiently and neatly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setup at all times.
- Interact courteously and professionally with children, parents, and event organizers.
- Adapt designs based on time constraints, age, and client preferences.
- Uphold FaceCraft’s reputation for reliability, professionalism, and creativity.
- Safely transport face painting materials and equipment to and from event locations.
Qualifications
- Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and responsive in communication.
- Prior experience in face painting, makeup, or working with children is an asset
- A background in visual arts, design, animation, or other creative fields is highly encouraged.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs (equipment and supplies).
- Willingness to travel across our service region and surrounding areas.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for events outside of our primary service area (Our service area-> Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Markham).
