Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team working Wednesdays and Thursdays with occasional coverage. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk, ensuring smooth daily operations of the medical office. Your energy and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment for patients while managing administrative tasks with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients and to support the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a positive experience.
Schedule appointments accurately using electronic medical records, PS Suite , and manage appointment calendars efficiently.
Processing payments, and handle billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary.
Maintain organized patient records in electronic medical records systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members to facilitate seamless care delivery.
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies to keep the front desk running smoothly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical records system, preferably, PS Suites .
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments and patient information.
Proficiency in office experience including multi-line phone systems, data entry, and administrative support.
Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members in a fast-paced setting.
Prior experience handling, billing processes, and front desk operations is highly desirable.
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
