Position Summary

RBG Security is currently hiring Full-Time Overnight Tactical Security Guards, Part-Time Overnight Security Guards, and Part-Time Day Security Guards.

The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Candidates should have previous experience in customer service and/or de-escalation and be confident handling situations calmly and professionally.

Available Positions Full-Time Overnight Security Guard

Full-time overnight opportunities available
Schedule will be based on site requirements
Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends as required

Part-Time Overnight Security Guard

Part-time overnight opportunities available
Flexible scheduling based on site requirements
Must be comfortable working independently during overnight operations

Part-Time Day Security Guard

Part-time daytime opportunities available
Must be available to work assigned day shifts
Must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

Pay

$18.06/hour during the 3-month probationary period
$19.74/hour after successful completion of probation

Required Qualifications

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
CPR/First Aid Certification
Previous customer service experience
Previous de-escalation experience is required or strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong report-writing abilities
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Previous commercial, condominium, office tower, or corporate security experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned premises to maintain safety and security
Control access to the property and verify credentials
Provide professional and courteous customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
Use effective de-escalation techniques when dealing with challenging situations
Maintain a professional and visible security presence
Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures
Monitor CCTV and other security systems
Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity
Conduct interior and exterior patrols
Assist tenants and visitors with general site-related concerns
Coordinate with emergency services when required
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and site management
