Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic dining experience in this newly opened south Indian restaurant! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable moments that keep guests coming back. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and guest expectations
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Practice effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality

Experience

Previous food service knowledge in a Indian or south Indian restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling tasks
Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve upselling or guest engagement is advantageous
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
