Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where you will be the friendly face and organized voice of our medical practice. In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining efficiency behind the scenes. Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls to appropriate staff members
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately
Manage incoming inquiries, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
Support administrative tasks including billing, coding, and document management in compliance with privacy regulations

Requirements

Proven experience as a medical office receptionist with familiarity in medical practices
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems such as Oscar Pro
Prior experience working with office equipment like multi-line phone systems and office software
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of office procedures or medical office workflows is highly desirable
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
